Introduction Quest
The Mysterious Figure on the Beach
Einar has not seen their friend that lives in Beachcomber Cove since the arrival of the humans in the valley. He’s asked you to look for them. You’re not entirely sure this so-called friend exists.
Player must find and convince the mysterious beach hermit to take the gift from them. Maris introduces themselves, but doesn’t say much other than their name.

Dialogue and Letters:
Einar
Greetings. I am here to inquire after a companion of mine who has not been seen in many days since your kind has begun to arrive. Tell me, have you seen a Majiri called “Maris”?
Player:
I haven’t met anyone by that name.
Einar:
Unfortunate. It has been many days since they have come to trade with me.
Player [Personality Type Variant Dialogue]
Air: Aw, Einar I thought I was your only friend.
Einar:
You are incorrect.
Player [Personality Type Variant Dialogue] :
Earth: You want me to find them for you, don’t you?
Einar:
With all the new humans in the valley, I have much to attend to.
Player [Personality Type Variant Dialogue]:
Fire: Oh! A mystery! I’m on the case!
Einar:
Is solving mysteries your oneness?
Player [Personality Type Variant Dialogue]:
Water: Do you think something might have happened to them?
Einar:
My internal processes keep formulating the worst case scenarios, much to my discontent. I believe the sensation is called “worry.”
Player:
If I see them I’ll let them know you’re looking for them.
Einar:
I am most grateful. Maris can usually be found at the lighthouse in the mid-afternoon, but they are known to seek oneness while walking the beach. Please, inform me if you learn their location.
Maris:

Player:
Are you Maris?
Maris:
Yes.
Player:
Einar asked me to come find you.
Maris:
Oh.
Player:
He’s pretty worried. You should stop by and see him.
Maris:
